Adults
Whether, it’s work, family, love or managing stress, it
can be complicated and painful when you feel like you’re in emotional
trouble and can’t seem to turn it around. In those times, leaning on
well-intentioned family and friends may not be enough.
I try to create a safe and welcoming space in therapy to explore the areas
in your life that feel problematic and difficult. As a therapist,
I would
describe my style as interactive, understanding and hopeful.
I am interested
in collaborating with you along the way, not talking
at you about what is
best. I believe that people generally want to be happy, respected and
connected to others, which forms the foundation of my work.
Topics explored in therapy include:
Relationship issues
Feelings of inadequacy
Depression/anxiety/anger
ADD/ADHD
Family issues
Parenting issues
Job issues
Adoption/race issues
